Unex Metall is offering a compact new design that attaches directly to the chassis with a new generation of restraint systems for recreational vehicles. The components of this system are very lightweight and take up little space, making installation in mobile homes easy. Our design permits the installation of three-point automatic seat belts in motorhomes or recreation vehicles, facing forward or backwards as well as in side seating groups. The space under the seating group is left almost untouched and still provides additional storage area or can be used for onboard electronics or a water tank, etc. The three-point automatic seat belts are hidden by the B-pillar, effectively preventing the belts from twisting or getting stuck. Padding can easily be placed in front of the column with this type of construction .
Our restraint system comes in two variants. Unex Protect is our basic version, while Unex Vario Protect is a high-quality model with a vertically adjustable mechanism on the upper seat belt connection point. This opportunity for personal adjustment provides your customers with optimum protection.
Homologated and standardized linking components create a direct connection between the restraint system and the chassis. The required spacer blocks are thus no longer necessary when using a double floor. This results in 15-20 minutes less assembly time as well as the reduction of procurement and warehousing costs since logistics must be arranged for only one part. The systems are delivered completely assembled and include fastening material and all connection parts needed for attachment to the chassis.
The systems come equipped with integrated three-point automatic seat belts and are offered with a KTL- or powder-coated surface in a variety of colors.
